Cuenta Conmigo (Lean on Me)

The Cuenta Conmigo program serves the Spanish-speaking population in our community as they manage a life threatening illness or grief associated with a death loss. The program works to provide support and assistance in addressing the feelings of isolation and despair associated with death loss while at the same time working to reduce stress and attempting to put control back in the lives of clients. The program provides these services to clients in their own language utilizing a person from their own culture.

TCA’s Mobile Student Health Clinic provides school-based primary health care for youth who lack ready access to health services. This may be due to age, financial, cultural, geographic, and even parental constraints. Barriers to health care can be insurmountable for low-income families, even those with insurance coverage.

Improving Community Psychiatric Efficiency

The Josselyn Center respectfully seeks a $30,750 a capacity grant for a clinical nurse. With a nurse, we expect to reduce the agency’s loss on psychiatric services by $36,800 annually through better utilization of costly psychiatric billable hours, by increased billing for psychiatrists and case managers and new billable hours for the nurse.
