The Association respectfully requests $75,000 to further strengthen our statewide infrastructure as well as provide hands-on technical assistance to free and charitable clinics caring for medically underserved adults. IAFCC connects and supports isolated, financially-stretched clinics to ensure sustainable healthcare for the remaining uninsured.
Funding will support 3 goals: A. Create a Quality Improvement Working Group to develop a statewide, sector-specific quality management program; B. Develop and implement strategic external partnerships to support internal capacity of clinics, beginning with ECHO-Chicago; C. Fully comprehend health policy changes with implications for our sector.
The Illinois Association of Free and Charitable Clinics (IAFCC) seeks funding to implement initiatives that will advance FCC’s as a recognized and integrated sector of our state’s current safety net healthcare system, and to continue infrastructure building.
