New Team Member

By vnafoundation  Published On December 3, 2021

VNA Foundation is pleased to announce that Rachel Baird has joined our staff to fill a newly created Program Officer position.

Rachel will be involved in all aspects of the Foundation’s grantmaking, and will oversee the renewal grant process for existing grantees. Rachel is joining us after nearly a decade in nonprofit fundraising and grant writing, including a position as Program Officer for Grants Development at the Heartland Alliance Marjorie Kovler Center, where she was first introduced to the VNA Foundation. This year marks VNA’s 25th anniversary operating exclusively as a private, independent grantmaking foundation. We are thrilled to have Rachel as part of our team as we begin our next 25 years supporting nonprofit organizations offering home- and community-based healthcare to the Chicago area’s medically underserved.
