Our Newest Board Members

Tanya Solov most recently served as the Senior Consultant for the Investor Protection Trust, a charitable organization devoted to promoting financial literacy and investor education. Prior to that, Tanya spent the majority of her career working in the public sector at the Illinois Securities Department. As the long-serving director of the department, she oversaw regulatory and investor protection functions, and capital formation initiatives. Tanya also served as an Assistant Attorney General, practicing in state and federal trial and appellate courts.

Tanya has chaired various national committees of the North American Securities Administrators Association, which has the mission of preserving the rights of investors. Tanya received her undergraduate degree at the Illinois Institute of Technology and her Juris Doctorate at IIT/Chicago-Kent College of Law.

VNA Executive Director Rob DiLeonardi shared, “As we begin a new fiscal year, we look forward to adding two new Board Members to the team who will offer new perspectives, valuable input, and timely guidance. Both Tanya and Brian have a wealth of experience—especially in the financial and legal sectors—and we look forward to seeing what we can accomplish together in FY 2025 and beyond.”
